Privacy notice
1. Who is responsible
This site belongs to Dr. Francisco Santos Dacarett, ophthalmologist, Hospital y Clínica Santa Lucía, Tegucigalpa, Honduras. For any question about this notice, write to citas@dacarett.com or message +504 9718-7044 on WhatsApp.
2. What data is collected
This site has no forms, does not ask for your name or your health information, and does not create user accounts. It only collects anonymous or pseudonymous usage data (pages visited, language, device type, approximate country or city, and the buttons you tap), and only to the extent you allow it (see section 4).

4. Google Analytics and consent
We use Google Analytics 4 to know how many people visit the site and which information they find useful. Until you accept, Google Analytics works without cookies: it receives anonymous signals that a visit happened, with no identifiers stored on your device, and Google uses those signals to estimate overall figures. If you accept, the cookies in the table are stored.
We never use Google Analytics for advertising, we do not turn on Google’s signals for personalized ads, and we do not send what you type in the site search. Google may process this data outside Honduras. More information in Google’s privacy policy.
5. WhatsApp and external links
The WhatsApp buttons open the WhatsApp app, owned by Meta, with a suggested message that you can change before sending it. What you write on WhatsApp is governed by WhatsApp’s terms and is answered by the clinic team; it does not go through this site. Links to other sites (the De Olho nos Olhinhos campaign, social networks, Google Maps, dacarett.com) have their own policies.
6. Hosting
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS Amplify), which logs technical connection data (such as the IP address) for security and operation, under its own policies.
7. Your rights
You can ask us for information about the data we process, or ask us to stop processing it, by writing to the email in section 1. Because the site does not store data that directly identifies you, in practice the simplest way to exercise your right is to reject or withdraw consent in “Cookie preferences” and clear your browser’s cookies.
8. Changes
If this notice changes, we will publish it here with its new date.
